The rest of my family are all platinum status and always stay comped in premium rooms where as I always stay in a deluxe room far away on the 2nd floor. You do not pay ridiculous resort fees.that is about it. 24 years of staying at the Horseshoe is probably coming to an end but the gambling won't. I like the casino but the family and I are beginning to stay at other casinos in Tunica and do not pay any resort fees and are comped nice rooms. Around March of 2021 El Dorado took over Caesars and that is when all the changes took place. I have spent a lot of entertainment dollars at the Tunica Horseshoe to attain diamond status with what used to be great perks and comps. And when we left, a generous tip was still on the table for the one housekeeper on that floor.What do you get being diamond status? You do not pay ridiculous resort fees.that is about it. We (my husband and i)bought our own bed coverings, towels, and wiped down our room, ( our choice - COVID precautions). I had hoped upon our leaving the manger would have considered giving us a discount, she did not, but offered a $20 food credit( useless we were leaving that morning)įinal note, as I expressed upon my arrival to the concierge, I am sensitive to the staffing shortages and salary challenges regarding staff and tip well regardless of service. The website says the pool was open) but it’s the principal since I made the reservation a month in advance. ( btw- the pool was not open anyway - we did not know that until 2 days later.

After a 5 hour drive, we did not want to wait another 45 min in hope to get the right room. Upon arrival we waited 45 min- for our room (as it was not ready.) When we got to the room, it was not what I reserved( deluxe king non smoking pool view). Unfortunately I cannot give a great review.
